Walk-Through Metal Detector
Garrett's Paragon walkthrough metal detector provides enhanced performance and special program selections engineered to meet the varying security requirements of special events, government buildings, mass transit, entertainment venues, loss prevention, zoos, and more.
This high-performance detector includes a bright LED display and a zone light array on each side that is visible in the brightest sunlight. The Paragon's industry leading performance is enhanced by an Auto Setup function, 66 zones, and tamper proof circuitry. Operator adjustments are simple, thanks to the unit's intuitive menu design. A 1.5 amp-hour battery is included to act as a backup unit during power loss or accidental AC disconnection.
Tamper-proof
Circuitry and cabling are secured behind a lockable panel. All settings are secured with two levels of access codes and a keypad restrict switch.
Easy assembly
The Paragon's modular design allows quick and simple assembly of its four (4) sub assemblies using only eight (8) screws and three (3) internal cable connections.

- 66-Zone Precision: The Paragon's industry-leading sixty-six zones provide precise location of one or more objects simultaneously.
- More Accurate Pinpointing: With more detection zones than any model on the competitive market, the Paragon provides uniform detection and precise pinpointing using independent zone indicators. Lights on both side panels identify not only height but also left, center, and right locations for one or more objects passing through the archway.
- Chip Card Capability: NFC (near field communication) card reader allows for adjusting settings of the walkthrough without mechanical insertion of a card. Less wear on parts with fewer card replacements.
- Bluetooth Capability: Paragon comes equipped with Bluetooth connectivity for wireless communication with other devices.
- Adaptive Environmental Interference Cancellation: Similar to popular noise canceling headphones, Paragon cancels out electromagnetic interferences and mechanical vibration from the environment.
- IP65 Standard: Protects from water and dust ingress into any electronics compartment and provides protection from rain and dust for outdoor operation or storage.
- OLED Graphic Display: Allows the use of imagery on the walkthrough menu display.
- Auto Sensitivity Selection: Adaptive learning mode to assist in setting an appropriate sensitivity level for your walkthrough based on the user's test object.
- Overhead Lightbar Indicator: Unique multi-functional "beacon" LED light that can be used for finding entrances at special events.
- Advanced Auto Setup Feature: Used for setting up multiple clusters of walkthroughs quickly and easily while maintaining lineup flexibility.
- Multi-brand Compatibility: Can be added to existing checkpoints without having to replace other brand units. Includes multiple channels and 2,300 selectable operating frequencies.
